Hook Relay is an independent business operated by Peter Sean Schliff, a sole trader trading as R.A. Apparel, ABN 43 995 518 595, Queensland, Australia. Not registered for GST. Contact: info@aurenholdstudios.com.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the Hook Relay website and to authorised use of Clip Factory, Hook Relay’s private desktop publishing tool. Creative or editing work for a client is agreed separately, in writing, before it starts. Sending an enquiry through the website does not create a contract.
3. The service
Hook Relay provides an informational website and a private desktop workflow that can analyse authorised source media, create clip candidates, render approved edits, coordinate publishing and retrieve performance information for published content. Features may change as platform capabilities and policies change.
4. Authorised use
You may submit, process or publish only material and accounts you own or are expressly authorised to manage. You are responsible for obtaining the rights, licences, releases and consents needed for footage, audio, likenesses, trade marks, claims and other content you supply.
5. Review before publishing
Automated analysis and generated suggestions can be incomplete or inaccurate. The authorised operator reviews the final media, captions, claims, disclosures, settings and destination, and confirms each upload, before anything is published.
6. Prohibited use
You must not use Hook Relay to infringe rights, impersonate others, distribute unlawful or deceptive material, evade platform rules, scrape data, interfere with the service, publish without authorisation or compromise another account.
7. Third-party platforms
YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and other platforms are independent services with their own terms, policies, review processes, rate limits and availability. Hook Relay does not control platform approvals, account actions or outages.
Where Clip Factory uses YouTube API Services, by connecting a YouTube channel to Clip Factory you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
8. Account security
Authorised operators protect their device, platform sessions and credentials, and revoke access when it is no longer needed. Never send passwords or access tokens to Hook Relay by email.
9. Your rights under Australian law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Results and liability
Hook Relay does not promise any particular reach, engagement, revenue or platform approval, because those depend on platforms and audiences outside our control. Subject to clause 9, we are not liable for loss caused by a platform’s own decisions or outages, or by content you supplied or approved for publication.
11. Ending use
You can stop using Clip Factory and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or end access where needed for security, legal or platform-policy reasons, or if these terms are seriously breached; where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you why first.
12. Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you may stop using the service.
13. Intellectual property
The Hook Relay name, brand assets, website design and Clip Factory software belong to Peter Sean Schliff (trading as R.A. Apparel). These terms do not transfer ownership of Hook Relay materials, and you keep any rights you hold in material you supply.
14. Governing law and contact
